What A View
once the wall was removed
the view... the visions
came alive
like a child in a candy store
wide eyed with excitement
the sky was brighter blue
the wheat grain a blinding gold
blowing in the breeze
a land locked ocean
but the beauty came from within
never visioned this thrill
an experience... finding the soul
no longer in need
no longer an obsession
to control... to own
no longer lonely
but yet... alone
a trust built upon
the spirituality of love
and a sense of belonging
a relationship with the One
brought warmth and comfort
and the knowledge
that love was a choice
... not a need
